Overrated? Who's rating us?

Easy...let me explain.

Being considered overrated is a product of expectation. If one feels that the expectation among the majority of others is unrealistically high, then that team would be judged by some as overrated. EVERYONE is talking about the possibility of Nova repeating. Winning the BE is kind of a basic expectation. This is a quality league and no team can be assumed to win this league without a peep about someone else possibly knocking them off. So in that sense I believe they are overrated. They aren't exponentially better than everyone else in the league and there is a good chance that they may lose to X or CU or someone else. Secondly, and related to my reasoning...I am a homer. I love me some Cats. So I'm going to pick them shamelessly. As a fan, expectations should always be high.
Go Nova!

Follow up question for the board:

In the responses so far, I see Seton Hall as a common "biggest drop" pick and the overwhelmingly popular "most overrated" pick. So my question is, why? Did the rest of the league really see them as that much of a 1 man team last year? They return 4 of 5 starters (all juniors) from a team that finished 3rd and won the BET last year. So what are the general thoughts on them? Why are they so overrated (at around 4th in the league, which seemed to be the consensus from the board's standings predictions)?

1) Whitehead was your best player. So head of the snake is cut off.
2) Volatility. Seton Hall had a great roster 2 years ago and they imploded.

Personally, I think they will be fine. I actually think whitehead was toxic and his absence won't be all that missed. I do think Gordon being gone will hurt, but someone will have to step up into that leadership role.
