Butler up on Nova. Who we rooting for? BU to get into the tourney or Nova to be overall #1 seed?

I am predicting that X goes 2-1 in their last 3 regular season games. They either knock off Nova and then get full of themselves and lose @Seton Hall or they lose to Nova and take it out on Seton Hall. Unfortunately for Creighton, in both my scenarios, X gets revenge against the Bluejays.

Nova stretched it out late and made there Fts late to keep it out at 10. Nova is a lot tougher mentally this year, hope that translates to a run in the Tourney.

Does Novaball troll all the other teams boards until he is banned? I think I he will be my first ignore on this board, just for how classless he was over there.

I think it's going to be very difficult for us to beat X again. Think we can count on 1-21 from 3 again? Both Nova and X are looking good for long runs in the tournament. They are both playing well right now. I saw a graphic that X has won all its games by at least 7 point. That's amazing!

The Butler fans didn't cover themselves in glory either. Lots of sour grapes over there, with the "Nova's going to lose in the first round" talk. Sounded like the Doug Gottleib twitter feed.

It's funny

Butler fans can go on about how they are losing but nova still sucks and will lose in the first round. But if a nova fan says that butler is going to struggle to even make the dance the tears start flowing.

Really a double standard around the big east message boards.

Not bashing Butler fans at all. I would be pissed having to deal with an NcaaBall / NovaBall from an opposing team on my board as well, but I have to agree, not just coming from Butler fans, but fans across the Big East, the amount of "Villanova is OK" and "Villanova won't do anything in the tournament" posts are laughable. We have literally lost FIVE......FIVE games since the New Big East formed, and people still say shit like this. Yeah, we do OK.

I think we have a pretty good opinion of Nova over there for the most part, but he got a few of them riled up with the NTI chant coming soon. Look at the pre game, most thought we were going to get blown out, or fight for the last shot win. (I sure wish we had the problem of being the suspect #1 team in the nation! LOL! )

Not sure where you got 5... my count was that you have lost 11 games since the new Big East was formed.

Regardless, you are always going to get that talk about Villanova not doing anything in the tournament - until you prove otherwise. Good or bad, that's just the way it is when you haven't made it past the first weekend since 2009. Thankfully, it looks like this is the year it could happen.
