Really disappointing turnout for a game like this. I realize St. John's isn't having a great season, and I also realize G'Town's season has been a bit of a disappointment to some, or at least a rollercoaster ride to say the least, but you are looking at 2 old school, Big East rivals playing against each other. Also, G'Town has a shot to make the tournament, if their fans came out and showed a little support, that probably wouldn't hurt.

Not looking to bash anybody, but for that type of crowd to show up for a St. John's vs. Georgetown game does not look good for the Big East.

Makes you realize what great additions Creighton, Butler and Xavier are. Their fans show up and that is what the Big East needs.

Just my opinion but Georgetown seems to be underperforming in many areas. Fan support, performance on the court and it seems like their recruiting has dropped off a bit. A team with a great history, academic reputation and being in DC shouldn't be struggling so much IMO.

Georgetown should be a top 20 team every year.

Some of you St. John's fans are too "what have you done for me lately" considering your team hasn't been good since the 1990's.

Just had to get that jab in there, didn't ya?

And sure act like St. John's fans are crazy when there are plenty of Georgetown fans out there who want JT3 out.

Georgetown has never had tons of fans at games. They were always a bigger tv draw than a ticket gate draw. And now that they are struggling, they don't help there.

Nova always debates about what is the perfect number of games to play at the NBA arena. And the gtown formula is sought to be avoided. Nova makes sure to play a bunch of games on campus to give the NBA arena games more of an event feel.

Georgetown in 6 home conference games this year has averaged 10,162 per game. Got 3 left. Seton Hall on the 17th(Wed) at 9pm, and then Xavier on the 20th and Butler on the 27th- both Saturday's at noon. All 3 should get pretty good crowds, especially the 2 Saturday ones.

Last year averaged 10,633 per game in conference play. Very possible we'll beat last year- if not probable. Need to average over 11,575 in those 3 games to beat last year.

JTIII has had tournament success. He has had some great teams that have fallen short in the dance. He has put a lot of guys in the NBA. He has rebuilt several times. He has some young, but good, talent on his roster moving forward. He was a 4 seed last year and actually won a game.

Has he been below expectations the past few years? Sure. But that isn't termination worthy.

Come on. Don't be ridiculous.

What have you done for me lately? The guys team is clearly under performing but yeah, us Johnnies are just irrational. Missing the dance 2 out of the last 3 years when he had the talent to get there each of those years means we're just asking what he's done lately. Yup.

I love how we don't even need to be talking about Villanova for you to come around and take a shot at us. It's like you're incapable of being anything other than a troll.

Maybe they should finally kill off their Fb program and build a small on campus arena there? Playing every game at the Verizon Center just isn't realistic for a small school like Gtown.

Georgetown hasn't missed the dance yet. If we can split the @ Providence and Xavier games- if we can beat Seton Hall, Butler, and @ Marquette- we are 18-13. With a top 20 SOS. That should get us in pretty easily- not even going to Dayton quite frankly. Heck I think if we can go 17-14, and win 2 in the BET, we could still get in at 19-15.

why don't you worry Redman about IF you guys can I dunno, win a game in the Big East. Right now there's a 31.1% chance that you go 0-18.
