Marquette is a quality team but they don't appear like one on paper thanks to their horrible schedule. They look like a bad loss instead of a quality win because they scheduled as many 200+ RPI teams that they could find.

And this is coming from a Georgetown fan? That's rich, given that Georgetown had about the worst OOC performance in our league. Until Georgetown beat Xavier and their RPI jumped like 30 spots, they were considered a bad loss as well.

I'd rather Marquette play a shitty OOC and win their games than Georgetown losing their OOC games including to the likes of UNC Ashville, Monmouth and Radford... Oh, and UConn

Wow way to not understand anything at all. Marquette's schedule hurt them so even if they won which they mostly did they hurt themselves and everyone else. Georgetowns results hurt us and the rest of the conference but still to a lesser degree than Marquette because our strength of schedule was so high. We have 2 bad losses Radford and UNC Asheville. Monmouth is 36 in the RPI. No one can call that a bad loss. And are you really calling @Uconn a bad loss?! Do you think losing @ Maryland was a bad loss too you forgot to include that. Smh

Pet peeve: When fans list a team as a bad loss because they can't look past the name on the jersey to see that the team is actually pretty good. It's one thing when a casual fan makes this mistake, but if you're gung-ho enough as a fan that you post on message board, you should not be so ignorant.

And Georgetown's projected RPI is closer to Villanova's than to Marquette's.

Butler coach Chris Holtmann said Tyler Lewis is day-to-day but doubtful for DePaul. Lewis might not be cleared in time for Saturday’s game at Marquette, either.

I have cleared my calendar for the much anticipated late January tilt with Stetson. We are all behind you, Marquette.

Not taking a shot at St. John's or Seton Hall, but you have a young Seton Hall team who is on the bubble right now, playing a traditional, local, Big East rival in St. John's who plays in a stadium which is about 15 miles away, and that is the turnout? I can understand to an extent SJU fans rather watching on TV because SHU is heavily favored, although SJU is playing the better game right now, but Seton Hall fans really need to show up for this team. This is a must win game for Seton Hall if they want to dance, and they deserve all the support they can get from their fans.

Long story short, as a Big East fan, I hope for MUCH bigger turnouts than this for the sake of the league, ESPECIALLY between 2 schools that are located so close together. This needs to be fixed.
