And I love your comment about "lack of manners"

You and a few other SJU clowns show up saying Nova should be embarrassed over their teams the past couple of years and Nova fans explain why we are proud of our team. Then you consider that a reaction that Nova fans "can't take the criticism" just because they don't agree.

And then Nova fans point out the reality of how truly awful St. John's has been the past fifteen years, and you go crying to have people banned because your feelings are hurt and it is our lack of manners that deserve criticism.

Take a step back and realize that is what happened and how ridiculous you look in that situation.

Nothing to be insecure about over here. We have seen our team win plenty. Which is why it is hilarious when fans of the worst major conference team in the northeast (okay, second worst behind Rutgers), tells us we should be ashamed and embarrassed by our program.

But go ahead, give it to us good. Nova deserves it. We can take it. Nova sucks!! Nova sucks!! Nova sucks!!

Then why do you and others constantly lash out? If you are secure with your teams accomplishments then why do you care what a lowly St. John's fan thinks? It's because you are an insecure internet troll.

Its sad because I root for BE teams, but they get Beatdown in the tourney. Maybe its coaching...maybe they played scared, Im not sure. Hopefully they get to the final 32

actually, the only big east team that really "choked" in the NCAA Tournament recently and got beatdown was the 2014 Creighton team. Nova lost a couple of games, one against the future national champs when they were only 3 pt favorites, and the other a 1 pt loss when they were 6 pt favorites. The Creighton game against Baylor has been the only "beatdown" thus far.

But that Creighton team was awesome and did a ton for the league. Doug McDermott winning National Player of the Year, the constant national attention throughout the season, really brought a lot of credibility to the league. So they caught a bad match up against Baylor and never really competed? Doesn't mean the fans should be embarrassed (as the johnnies fans probably think you should be). It means their season ended a game or two early, but it was still a real fun season that brought a lot of credibility to your program and I hope the Creighton fans enjoyed it.

What do you mean by "lash out"

Go back and read the thread. We comment that we disagree about you telling us that we should be embarrassed by a team that has won like 65 games in a two year stretch. We recognize where this team was when the new conference began, and the progress they have made. How is that lashing out?

And it's a message board. We are supposed to discuss different points of view. That's not insecurity. I understand that some view this board as a big kumbaya circle, but differing points of view are allowed. (And if your point of view is that Nova is an embarrassment, expect a response from Nova fans. And that's not insecurity, that's just a natural reaction to the dialogue.)

And then we gave you an example of a fan base that really should be embarrassed, and a team that has actually let the conference down. And a team that has been letting the conference down for a decade and a half. But try to find one inaccurate thing I said about St. John's. I have probably been to more St. John's games than many of your "fans" from 2003 - 2012. I have been very disappointed that our New York franchise has let down the fans of Big East basketball who wanted to attend quality events in the years I lived in the city.

Save the Drama, Villanova is the best regular season team in the BigEast. However they turn into a YMCA girls team in March Madness. They freeze under pressure. Sure its embarrassing and makes Villanova fans want to root for a real winner. Should the coach be fired...maybe.

You're the only one who looks ridiculous here. You're the one who can't even have a civil conversation on these boards. Oh and i wasn't in that thread so you can't say I said anything.

actually, the ones who look ridiculous are the st john's fans who are teaching nova fans that we should be embarrassed by our team and our coach....

And wasn't there a Creighton open letter thread that got bombarded so bad by st john's fans criticizing Creighton for their fans leaving early that had to be locked as well?

Looks like a theme around here. St. John's fans are here to show fans of other schools what they should be embarrassed about. Meanwhile, fifteen years and counting since their last ncaa tourney win.....
