Lets ask Oklahoma about you guys.

Are you saying Incarnate Word is on the same level as Oklahoma? I mean you guys are clearly not terrible and getting better but wildly inconsistent.

If we're asking schools who beat us what they think of us why not ask OU what they think of Nova?

But you're 6-10 vs D-I teams and projected to go 2-16 in the Big East. SJU is a bad team this year. They should improve next season (we'll see by how much), but right now, they are a bad team.

(by the way, KenPom ranks St. John's as the 5th-most experienced team in the Big East, so it's not like SJU is the only young team in the league)

Seniors who haven't played in years and would be bench guys on their former teams or guys who would still be bench guys on our team if we had a full team. Durand Johnson would not start at Pitt and might not even get much playing time at all.

Ok, what about STAC, NJIT, or Fordham? Is it ok to ask them?

Maybe St. John's should ask Oklahoma for some advice on how to beat Villanova since the Johnnies only done that ONCE in the last 15 games.......scary. I don't see that number improving this year for St. John's either. Oh my, how the gap has widened.

Ok but Oklahoma is the number 2 team in the country, they're supposed to win... Incarnate word is 7-7 against bad schools. Using Oklahoma beating Nova as a retort to losing to Incarnate word is not really a good comeback.

For the record again I do think you guys are decent just really inconsistent and not enough depth in your talent pool. I'm just arguing that we should call a spade a spade not grasp at straws to argue with Novaball

I'm not one to kick a program when they are down, unless that program is BC, Pitt, Cuse, St Joes(PA) or Temple.

SJU beat Cuse. Gives them a pass for the year in my book. They'll be back (I really hope). :?

What's there to say? JT3 built this year's roster over several years while Mullin's roster came together over a couple of months this summer. I'd be surprised if St. John's wins 2 conference games this year. Mullin will need a couple of years to be competitive in the Big East.

Novaball, help me out here. Would a Marquette win be really good for the conference? Kind of good? Kind of bad? Or terrible? Seems like a good, tight conference race would be kind of fun. But maybe I'm not getting it.

marquette building on their win against providence. This is why you don't judge a team this early in the season. these are bunch of young kids. they can get better over the course of conf play.
