My question is what two or three teams have the best chance of grabbing that 5th bid. As of last week, everyone was really high on Seton Hall but they lost a game they needed to stay on track, or so that seemed to be the overwhelming opinion on the board.
FIne, what teams do I need to be pulling for that realistically have the best chance of grabbing that 5th bid? I think six is is unrealistic, even for the most eternally optimistic of us (unless a team out of nowhere wins the auto bid).

That right there is why this season rocks. Right now 4 solidly in, The Hall with an 11 and three very good teams, Georgetown, Marquette and Creighton receiving votes within 10 spots of each other. Any one or two could replace the Pirates for 5 or 6 bids. Basically 8 teams very much alive while DePaul and St. Johns are in rebuilding mode, will be ready to vie for bids next year.

Seton Hall EXTREMELY deceiving on this. Of the 23 brackets that were done yesterday, they were barely on half.
Marquette on 1 bracket yesterday
Georgetown none
Creighton on 3 yesterday

Also, the big east will at least get 5 teams in the tournament, one of Creighton, Georgetown, Seton Hall, or Marquette will separate themselves at some point. I would also argue that these four teams are better than they were last year and could win a game or two depending on the match up.
