Why do you always over-analyze the announcer assignments?

Raf lives in North Jersey. It's not a long way from Philly, but maybe it was as simple as Fox asking him if he would rather head over to Queens tonight or drive down to Philly.

I am surprised Villanova is favored by 15 points. Seton Hall has given Villanova problems recently. I think Villanova wins, but I think Seton Hall is legit and should not be taken lightly.

I guess I am just a little too nerdy. I like announcers that try to dissect and analyze the game a bit. Raftery and Gus just use way too many "phrases" for me. ONIONS!

Nova and X are both 15 point favorites today. I'd pick both to win, but only X to cover the spread. I think Seton Hall is underrated and will keep it competitive, but as is the key to most upsets, they're going to need an excellent 3pt shooting day to steal a win.

looking for one of two things from SH: either a beat down of such epic proportions that they don't recover their will to play until sometime after Saturday, or a stunning victory that they spend the rest of the week reading all the press clippings and on line praises that they are set for a major let down on Saturday. Either way. I'm not picky.

Entire Raf family is fun. I know his daughter. She's a Hoya grad.

I know his son. His son used to bartend with my roommate when I lived in NYC and he now lives in LA in the same area as a bunch of my friends who are New York transplants out there. Really good guy and a lot of fun like you said. He makes documentaries.

In the 12 conference games of the nBE played at the Pavillion Nova has won ON AVERAGE by 22.8 pts per game. A 15 pt spread would have been covered only twice out of those 12 games. Last year at the Pavillion Nova beat SHU by 26. It's one of those things that the team is just really comfortable playing on that court and maybe the site lines are such that opposing / unfamiliar teams struggle to score. In only one of those same 12 games did the opposing team score over 70 pts. on that floor. People think of Nova only in terms of guards and 3 pt shooting but miss that they are also an excellent defensive team.

So if SHU is going to win they are going to have to be insane from 3--something that I don't think is their strength. Nova - 78 SHU - 61

I'd like to see seton hall keep this game competitive. I have been impressed with them the last few weeks. they have the front court that can give nova some trouble on the board.

delgado ochefu matchup should be fun to watch.

Throw last year's game out, SHU was battling themselves more than their opponents by that point. Nobody doubts how good Nova is at home and I'm certainly not expecting SHU to win. That being said, they're deep enough in the front court that they shouldn't get dominated by Ochefu again and the guards are talented enough to keep up.

Hopefully Nova's team comes in with your same attitude that it'll be a cake walk.

Milwaukee fans have Gus Johnson for 20 games. He worked the Bucks/Bulls last night.

I do love Bill Raftery!

I have Sirius XM because of the Tim Brando Show. I got to meet Brando last year at the Bradley Center and got a picture with him.

I can't wait for Cal/Oregon as I love the Pasch/Walton show!
