I wouldn't be so sure about Butler. lost both and got crushed today. think they could be down to the 18-20 range quite possibly.

It won't happen, but I'm hoping that Butler isn't ranked next week. In the last 3 halves, they've gotten dumptrucked because their opponents were by far the more aggressive, tougher team on the court. I don't think there's a chance they beat Nova next weekend, and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see them fall pretty hard during conference play. This league is loaded with quick aggressive guards who can finish in the lane, and Butler's biggest weakness is perimeter defense. I'd attack Lewis, Dunham and Martin every time down the court.
billyjack wrote:Butler is fine. They're the same team that just rolled thru non-conference against Purdue, etc. They have no injuries and Dunham went 3 for 5 from 3 yesterday so he's back. Teams don't go from F4 contender to suckitude, so relax. They remain a deep team that can go deep in the BE and NCAA's.
Two things happened... they lost a tight game against the #12 team, and they lost by double-digits at Xavier like it's happened to every other XU opponent... plus it was only a 5 point margin mid-2nd.
X and Butler opened with 2 tough games. Then yesterday one of them had to lose.
