Well done.

And about the game times, i really do like the morning games for Xavier. We have a young roster and new point guards so I think playing at time with little fanfare will bode well for them. Expecting to win Alabama, lost to Wich St. Then who knows. Hope to go 2-1.

This place might not survive if what you say happens, because your opponent in the 3rd place game could be none other than Dayton(beating Iowa losing to Notre Dame).

It is amazing to see UD fans posting on this board for a league they are not part of. They were very negatively vocal about Xavier fans who continued posting to the A-10 board after Xavier announced that they were moving to the BE but at the time, were still a member of the A-10. A little hypocrisy, I guess. It doesn't help though when X fans rise to the bait.
Xavier will surprise. Never count them out of the Dance.

Ranking the best of college hoops' 2015 November tournaments - CBS Sports

AdvoCare Invitational

Previously known as the Orlando Classic and Old Spice Classic, this event is held at Disney World, inside HP Field House. Played on Nov. 26, 27 and 29, the eight-team arrangement this year has Dayton vs. Iowa, Xavier vs. Alabama, Wichita State vs. USC and Notre Dame vs. Monmouth.

Last year's champion: Kansas

Grade: A-. This is one of the better ones, year in and year out. Dayton: solid. Iowa: solid. Xavie: solid. Wichita State and Notre Dame: very solid. Plus, USC is going to be better this year (some coaches told me in July they expect the Trojans to win 20 games). Alabama is entering the first phase of the Avery Johnson era. Good field, and when you've got multiple NCAA tourney-level teams reasonably capable of winning the tournament, it's a big win.

Can't wait to see this "Xavie" team in action.

Could be a tough road for the Flyers now. Kavanaugh, Scott, Robinson and now Pierre:

Seriously, unless the topic of expansion is involved or one of our teams is playing UD, there is no reason to discuss UD on this board, but I do find this curious from the ESPN report:

Dayton said in a statement that Pierre is not enrolled at the university for the fall and added that it would not discuss the topic further, citing federal privacy laws.

That is severe. Beyond the PR problems this creates from only being one year removed from throwing two convicted criminals off the team, and the Kavanaugh mess before them, I hope that for UD's sake this isn't another sexual assault related deal.

Don't know UD's roster very well, but I think he was the big dude that had some great blocks against PC. If thats who it is, its a big loss.

I don't know their roster at all. I just find it brow-raising that he's out of school for a semester. Something not so good happened. But we move on and back to things Big East.

The big dude (only 6'6" with long arms) making all the blocks last year was Kendall Pollard. Dyshawn Pierre (also 6'6" but not a big blocking threat) was a very effective post presence in his own way with spin moves, quick shots and surprising strength. He also was a decent 3 point threat which gave opposing power forwards a fit last year.

I am confused. If he's not even enrolled in the school, how can he be expected to play next semester? Maybe I missed something.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.
