Saturday 2/2
St. John's @ 2 Duke, 12:00, ESPN - Bob Wischusen, Dick Vitale, Allison Williams

Seton Hall @ Butler, 12:00, FS1 - Justin Kutcher, Len Elmore

Providence @ DePaul, 2:30, FS1 - Jeff Levering, Stephen Howard

On Saturday, Feb. 2, at 12:00 PM ET, Seton Hall visits Butler in FOX Sports’ second ever men’s basketball all-access game. Pirates coach Kevin Willard and Bulldogs coach LaVall Jordan will wear live microphones, giving viewers the chance to hear directly from the sidelines and locker rooms from tipoff through the final whistle. The game is presented commercial-free on FS1, allowing FOX Sports cameras and microphones to capture moments not normally available to a television audience, including live access to every team huddle and inside both locker rooms during halftime and postgame. Play-by-play announcer Justin Kutcher and analyst Len Elmore have the call live from Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Just praying SJU can put up a good fight......

Duke currently has a 146 game home winning streak against non-conference opponents......last loss?.....Feb. 26, 2000 against St. John's.....

That same year, the Rams won the Super Bowl......so.....maybe things are lining up again?.....

I'd say most likely scenario for the Johnnies at this point is they lose the next 2 games in blowouts, fans get discouraged, but then they get 5/6 more wins rest of the way and make the Tournament.

Given that this is St. John's, though, nothing would surprise me.

I think the Duke game is a tough matchup. Not sure who is going to attempt to guard Zion but he is a freak. Also if Barrett is shooting well you're in trouble. SP is a stud but their best defender is T. Jones. He could conceivably slow him down a bit. At Cameron you know you're not going to get a kind whistle. If I'm Mullin I pack the lane and force Duke to beat you from the outside. They struggled with Cuse from 3. That is SJU's best hope IMO.

Totally agree Gumby. Force them to shoot from the outside and hope they are having an off day. And then hope that our guys are on fire. A lot has to fall into place for this to be competitive but you gotta have faith! :)

Last year I had tickets...then we had that huge losing streak and I strongly considered selling the Duke ones. Then I thought to myself, "we just went 0-11...the most St. John's thing ever would be if we beat Duke here". Then I thought I wouldn't be able to live with myself if we won...so I went and we did win. Pretty crazy. This is a much tougher Duke team than last year IMO and we can't even stop decent bigs...not sure how we can stop Zion aside from hoping he charges and getting hands in the passing lanes. On the other hand, streaks are made to be broken.

I have zero expectations for the Duke game obviously. Won't even care if we lose by 50 as long as we bounce back and win one of the next 2 Big East games. Much more concerned about every other game after it.

always tell the kids I coach end of halves are so crucial.... prime example here with Duke/St John's. Zion with 19 point and totally unguardable.
