Next week is going to be awesome as the inaugural Gavitt Tipoff Games are played.

Tuesday, Nov. 17
Georgetown at Maryland: First meeting since 2008-09 season
DePaul at Penn State: First meeting since 1984-85 season
Nebraska at Villanova: First meeting since 1998-99 season

Wednesday, Nov. 18
Illinois at Providence: First meeting since 2003-04 season

Thursday, Nov. 19
Creighton at Indiana: First meeting since 1974-75 season
Iowa at Marquette: First meeting since 1982-83 season
Rutgers at St. John’s: First meeting since 2012-13 season

Friday Nov. 20
Xavier at Michigan: First meeting since 1988-89 season

really outside the Nebraska/Nova game- all 7 other games should be pretty competitive.

If St. John's loses to Rutgers does Chris mullin's job become in jeopardy?

Illinois is not good. PC shouldn't struggle there, at home.

I assume you were joking? If not, this year is a wash. The clock doesn't even start until next year. I don't even believe the issue will be broached until he has at least three recruiting classes. Truthfully, what would their next course of action be if this doesn't pan out? That's why this is at least a five year commitment.

Totally agree.

I think the thing would be though, if St John's struggles for 2-3 years, Mullin would be the one who would possibly end things, NOT St John's.

That Georgetown/Maryland game is going to be great. Are these all aired on Fox or BTN?

The conferences (BEast/Big 10) TV rights holder controls the home teams distribution (see below)
