figure get this started-
Rothstein posted that St John's will be in the Legends Classic in Brooklyn next year. Other main teams- VCU, Cal, and Temple

Xavier- Maui- Arizona, Auburn, Duke, Gonzaga, Illinois, Iowa State, San Diego State

Any others that we know about yet? Should get back to normal next year with the PK80 event not in the picture.

Butler is in the 2018 Battle for Atlantis.

Butler, Wisconsin, Florida, Virginia, Oklahoma, Stanford, Dayton, & MTSU.

That is a great tournament---team will really enjoy themselves--- with a really strong field.

Yes it is. Butler finished 3rd in the 2014 Battle 4 Atlantis - including an upset of #5 UNC. So the Dawgs have fond memories of the Bahamas.

Coincidentally, their sole loss in that tournament was against Oklahoma, who they could very likely face again.

EDIT: Actually, half of the field (Butler, Florida, Oklahoma and Wisconsin) were all in this same tournament together in 2014. Kinda interesting.

Providence will be playing at Mohegan Sun in the Hall of Fame Tipoff next year alongside George Washington, Michigan, and South Carolina.

I believe the NCAA rule is that you can't go back to a tournament for 4 years. So even if you love a tournament, and they love having you, you have to wait 4 years. So 2018 is the soonest that those teams can return.
By the same token, Mohegan/HOF loves having PC as they are barely 1 hour away and can push attendance like no one outside of Duke. PC played there in 2014, and will be back in 2018, the soonest they can return.
