Wow, last night's game was amazing as a Patriots fan...
The Belichick-Brady era Patriots have been about great preparation, great composure, focus, teamwork, film study, repetition, and game planning. They rarely make half-ass decisions on the fly. They know what they're running in every situation. Again, just fantastic preparedness. A really great team to follow.
This is in contrast to the old pre-Robert Kraft Patriots. Many of those teams had a ton of talent but the coaching and ownership was awful and brainless. It's the equivalent of Keno Davis compared to Ed Cooley.
Really impressed with the postgame interviews too. Brady stayed positive regarding Goodell. Also, players like hero James White talked about their game strategy and again, preparedness. Reading the Atlanta defense.
Also, i was never a big fan of coaches that cheerlead on the sidelines. Dan Quinn is a good guy, but a couple of times understandably he got rah-rah emotional. Often it's just not a good look. Better to roll with the game and continue to keep your players focused.
In the college hoops world, Mark Turgeon at Maryland acts like an idiot jumping around like a clown... compare that to our 10 focused Big East coaches... like Jay Wright calmly watching Jenkins winner, or DiVincenzo's tip-in last week. It's a much better look.
