GumbyDamnit! wrote:Quite the prediction. So you expect (at minimum) for Mack to:

1. Win at least 3 BE regular season championships.
2. Win a BET.
3. Take X to the # 1 ranking.
4. Go to at least 2 FF's.
5. Win a NC.
6. Win Naismith COY 2x
7. Win BE COY 3x.

Of course this is all while JW stops being successful at the same time.

Bold prediction. Would have thought as an X fan especially that you can appreciate just how difficult it is to get to a single FF let alone 2, not to mention the NC. But I guess we'll see. Would be tremendous for the league if Mack and X accomplished those things.

Calm down buddy. Jay Wright has been in the BE for 14 years I believe. And Nova is a higher quality program than X in general. Give Mack another decade in the BE and he might be closer to those accomplishments.

Not sure why I have to "calm down." Thought my response was rather "calm" already. The BE specific accomplishments I cited only considered the last 3 years, not 14. I did not mention the other BE regular season championships or BE COY accolades. My point, calmly stated "buddy" was that Mack had his work cut out for him if he were to be considered "better than Wright over his career," as the poster predicted. What part of my response did you feel I was getting too hyped about?
