Kaleb Joesph Transfers to Creighton!

Kaleb was first choice. Boone was waiting to see what Kaleb did. As soon as Kaleb picked CU, Boone committed to UC. Had it been first to decide, Boone would have been at CU. Kaleb is the much better fit. CU's offense needs a good point guard who can handle the ball under pressure and distribute the ball. It doesn't need a high volume, shoot first PG, like Boone. Plus, Boone's percentage isn't all that good - he just takes a lot of shots. Although Watson scores in double figures for CU, he is not a shoot first player. We obviously run some clear-outs and other plays for Mo as a part of our offensive package, because he is so good at getting to and finishing at the rim. But, you rarely see him dribble down and take a pull up jumper, unless the defender backs way off. Kaleb only has to be able to shoot well enough to keep his defender from sagging off and clogging up the passing lanes. Plus, Kaleb is 6'3" or so and Boone is under 6'. You need big guards to compete in the BE - Mo's height does hurt us some on the defensive end.
