Memphis transfer Avery Woodson told ESPn he has committed to Butler.

Immediately eligible.

He definitely won't start, but he'll provide much-needed three-point shooting. This is a good get for us.

Chris Holtmann could have two transfers start next season for Butler: Avery Woodson (Memphis) and Kethan Savage (GW). Interesting team.

It's quite possible, if not likely he will end up starting. Regardless of who it is among Savage and Woodson that potentially begins behind Lewis, they won't end there. I doubt Lewis ends up holding off Baldwin for guard minutes either as the season progresses.

I'd go 3:2 he's the starter for the first exhibition and 1:3 he's the starter the first Big East game.

As an aside, I think it'll be something like Savage(25) both Woodson and Lewis(20) & Baldwin(15) --- or thereabouts.
