This Major College Basketball Program is About To Collapse

According to one of my insider sources, star player Isaac Copeland is considering transferring from Georgetown to another program where he will be able to showcase his talent more effectively. This would take away Georgetown's most dangerous scoring threat and one of Georgetown's best players for next season. Even more concerning is the fact that Paul White, another highly ranked recruit, is rumored to have threatened to leave the University, going so far as to say that three other teams have approached him with offers. And if those two are considering leaving, who knows what else is transpiring in the locker room? The players are losing confidence in a Georgetown coach and system that just hasn't really worked since 2007, so I can't blame them for wanting to leave an inconsistent team.

Already tweeted at and got a response that there is no validity to this article. Which is good because I might have legit puked in my cube.

How am any career points has Paul white scored? He should transfer he's not at then right place.

I said in another thread that I think DSR should have gone pro. I think him returning hurt the team this ye and stunted their growth. He obviously didn't fit with guys like peak and Copeland.

I bet Copeland stay, and I bet georgetown is ranked next yr. this was a young team this year that had chemistry issues. Talent is there, coach knows what he is doing.

And if these guys leave, jt3 will just go get new players. They will be fine.

By the way, can someone fill me in on how josh hart and Kris jenkins ended up at villanova?

Does this mean Villanova will land Chris Lykes?

The Hoya boards seem to think we have no chance with Lykes based simply on "why would a guard pick G'town over Nova".

Paul White (who missed the season after surgery), is by far the best feed the post passer the Hoyas have. ..... He wouldn't have helped them defensively though, which was there biggest weakness.
