Gaaack. Just about chocked on that hairball. Need to beat Seton Hall to get off the bubble.

No way does Creighton get in as a sixth team from the BE. CU would have to finish 3-0 and win at least two in BET, in my opinion -- which of course hurts Providence - or win the BET. CU needs to win tomorrow and after losing to MU might still need to upset PC or X or win a couple in NYC just to get in the NIT, IMO. The MU loss was a real killer.

When you sweep providence in the regular season is it really and upset if you beat them in the conference tournament? I think not

Except that PC beat CU first game so beating them at PC is probably going to be considered an upset. Ok, it appears I was lacking in clarity. Was talking about what CU needs to do

Very relieved about the Friars' grinded-out win over DePaul. I think the Dunk was sold out. Dunn was sick and played limited minutes at half speed. It really was a preview of next year's team. Cartwright played well running the point, and Bentil had another excellent game.

Had the opportunity to introduce myself to Pete Gillen as he was leaving the floor postgame. Very very nice guy. I told him that i stayed up til 3am last Thanksgiving weekend specifically to listen to him work the Great Alaska Shootout... told him that he's the current day Al McGuire behind the mike. He was very nice, but i could tell he was trying to escape talking to a nutcase like me.

Also, DePaul freshman Eli Cain was outstanding. 22 pts, 4 for 7 from three, great job.

Great win Nova, you definitely deserved it and hopefully everyone enjoyed the atmosphere at the BC, highest attended game of the year. Great wins by Butler and PC.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
