Why even the need to bring Fran into the conversation? #1 recruiting class in the Big East, and that's supported by the 247 average not Fran.

If LoVett was part of this class it'd be top 10.

I am predicting that Rawle Alkins will end up in Queens as well. From what I have heard, going to school in North Carolina has not helped NC State, it has helped St. John's. I am not saying Rawle is homesick, but I think it is making him realize that the lights are brighter in NYC.

If St. John's was going against UNC or Louisville I think it would be a tougher battle, but when it comes to NC State, they just scream middle of the road ACC team to me. I am a big fan of Jimmy V, and I know they won another one in 1974, but besides that, NC State hasn't really done anything for awhile. Just not a "sexy" option if you ask me.

I think Rawle sees what Mullin is doing at SJU. I think he sees the talent that Mullin has already gotten so he knows would be playing with enough talent to win. I think the idea of playing in his hometown at MSG is very attractive. At this point I would be surprised if he ends up anywhere else.

if we get both of the 5 stars they will have a parade on campus. Seriously the Mullin staff has done an incredible job.
