quoting Aaron Rodgers.

PC's RPI dropped from 23 down to 27 that's it. Not that big of a deal at all whatsoever..... It's going to hurt the Ken Pom to some degree, but that's always been an issue. What's more important is getting Bentil healthy.

Congrats to DePaul on a great win. They've been playing great ball lately, and definitely deserved the W. This win really wasn't a fluke. Great gameplan by Leitao. Obviously Bentil's injury was key, and Lindsey didn't play.

But even still, I don't have the stats in front of me, but it seemed as thought DePaul kept their turnovers down and kept their focus. Few mistakes. Hamilton IV and Gazi seemed to have limited minutes, which was helpful. Eli Cain the freshman is a really great player, and Garrett looked great too. Freakin Ryckbosch kept getting offensive boards.

We may be seeing the beginning of a good run for the Blue Demons.

Also, I've been mentioning recently that because PC has so many underclassmen, we will be prone to off nights. That's why probability wise, Seton Hall, Georgetown, MU and Creighton have solid chances to get wins vs the Friars. Every night we have to be on our game.

1 thing that is good Big East wise with DePaul- they are done with Butler, Georgetown, and only have 1 game left with Seton Hall. They could wind up with 5 or 6 wins perhaps this season in conference which would be absolutely huge for them. 6 wins- 12 wins total would get them a final RPI around 145. While last year was fools gold- this feels much more sustainable.

Could we please stop with saying Garrett was huge or great last night. He was perhaps the 5th most impactful player for DePaul last night, behind Henry, Wood, Stimage and Cain. Stephen Bardo, who really is a fan of his, was even critical of him.

I sure hope CU takes heed of that result when DePaul comes to town next. They are more than capable of knocking us off if we don't lock in mentally.

No word yet, Projo reporter said later today or even tomorrow. I'd guess he misses the Villanova game at a minimum. Obviously if he is done for the year we are facing the bubble. Not sure we win too many games without him.

not only that- but you would be evaluated by how you play after he's gone. You go 3-5 with only wins Creighton, DePaul, and @ St John's- then lose 1st rd of the BET- you are 21-11, with a RPI over 50 and a mediocre KP rating. Might need to win one of the other games- taking Nova and X out of the equation- but one of @ Marquette, Georgetown, or @ Seton Hall. Hopefully just a week or two tops and he'll be back in time for the end of the season.....
