XU will be a deep tourney team. Ton of weapons and talent, ton of depth. Tough bad ass group. They can beat anyone. I think they just have to make better decisions late. Great exciting game. I thought the refs were good and let the guys play. We couldn't hit a 3, holy cow, we could barely hit a 2, cuz X's defense never stops, relentless.

I have no idea why Macura put up a 30 footer up 3 with 1 minute left and 20 seconds still on the shot clock... why do that? And then it goes in... oof... wtf was that?

That's just Macura being Macura.

What a game. Even with X up double digits I never felt very comfortable I knew Providence would make a run. Says a lot about how deep this Xavier team is though to have foul trouble and not miss a beat. Good to see Jalen finally play to his potential in a big time matchup hopefully that gets him going for the rest of the season. Great crowd tonight too you could really hear it on TV.

Aftermath of blizzard. A lot of residential streets are still not manageable (surrounding counties of DC). Trains were not operating at some VA stops.

I had 8 tickets and couldn't even make it.

The crowd at Dunkin Donuts Center was insane. I love being in a conference with Cooley and PCU. Good luck the rest of the way, except in Cincinnati.

First chance I've had to post. Of course I'm glad Xavier won, but high praise to Providence for a fantastic, gutty effort. Down a bunch, probably tired as hell from Sunday and the aftermath of the storm, but a gritty comeback and superb effort. The crowd at the Dunk was off the hook as well. Providence is going a long way in the Dance this year and well deserving of #10 in the polls.

Great comeback by GTown last night and awful for Creighton.
I love this league. Props for a great night of entertainment.

The Friars board agrees that the Xavier-PC game Tuesday night was among the Top-5 loudest crowds in the 43 year history of the Dunk. Comparable to our win over #1 Michigan in 77, and our win over Georgetown in 87, among others.

Crowds can cheer, but there was a roar to this crowd I never heard at PC via TV. Sounded like the Alabama-Clemson Title Game. It was great, too bad the country couldn't find FS1, instead of the over-hyped Ben Simmons and Georgia-LSU.
