How did this speculation all start anyway? One of the message boards or a twitter post or something? I have a buddy who is a St. John's fan.....actually make that several, but one of them texted me if I heard anything on the Villanova board I go to but I didn't.

Anyway, I wasn't looking to start rumors, was just looking to get some type of confirmation. Fingers crossed LoVett is a Johnnie next year.

Started on Redmen.com then spread on twitter by ExiledRedMan. He was the only one talking about it and even the SJU beat writer was poking fun of him about it.

Again, I am sincerely happy that LoVett is not going anywhere. I know I have had some back and forth with some of the Johnnies fans on here, but believe me when I tell you nothing would please me more than SJU getting back to where you belong. Too much history with your program to be down forever. Mullin will right the ship.

Had to do a project today at a satellite office of the Hospital I work for (HSS)... I take my bus down Union Turnpike up to Utopia Pkwy and I have the pleasant surprise of the St. John's University Campus next to me. I'm not a Queens guy so I had no idea this is where it's actually located. I wish there was a game tonight. Would been a perfect ending to my night.

The commute here is a killer however (from the Bronx). Took me two hours.... Anyway, end of Offtopic post!

I have a good idea St. John's assistant, Matt Abdelmassih, tweet was intended for that wacko, too.

He thinks everyone has issues when it's actually him. Everywhere he goes he rubs people the wrong way. He constantly flip flops and exaggerate or flat out fabricate. The guy has a herd of screennames on Redmen.com. Just overall, a wildly odd character.
