I loved the fact the friar mascot was so creepy. So I dislike the change.

PC has such a bizarre history of mascots. The one during my era had a big, bald plastic head which ended up with a dent.

I want to sit on the meetings when the people in charge are determining that these mascots aren't going to weird people out. I'd also have to imagine the place where this outfit gets put together keeps the head in a bag to avoid being freaked out, much like the mascot keeps the tortured innocence of everyone it runs into in that creepy, blank stare.

Does Cooley use the mascot in practice to motivate his players? I might, but that could be stepping over the line.

This version is less creepy, but my attitude if it's going to be bad, you might as well go all out.
