Rank. Team (% chance of dancing) synopsis (games this week)

1. Xavier (98%). This team is a monster right now and they just keep getting better. One of the top five teams in the nation. (12-22 @ Wake Forest)

2. Butler (89%). Ty Lewis is finding his groove and looked awesome in a huge win against #8 Purdue. Hat a fun player to watch. Team is bowing they are a lot more than just jones and Dunham. (12-22 SUTAH?)

3. Providence. (80%). Handled Rider without Dunn. This absence of Dunn might really help the team come March. (12-21 @ UMass)

4. Villanova. (90%). I'm not down on Nova as their two losses are to the top two teams in the kenpom ratings, but at some point we need to stop projecting in the rankings and stop giving credit for the past two years. Right now butler and providence have done more and deserve the better ranking. Although I do think nova ultimately finishes second in the conference. (12-22 Del)

5. Seton Hall (55%). I have been bullish on Seton Hall all year, and they finally picked up a signature win. They have put themselves in okay position to dance with their oOC effort. Two losses, neither real bad, with some okay wins. This is one of the most talented rosters in the league. Rpi in the top 50. (12-22 USF)

6. Marquette (54%). No action this week, but stays at #6, jumped by the Hall in the rankings. But moves ahead of the Hoyas. (12-21 CHIST?)

7. Georgetown (30%). Ugh. A pair of moral victories against Duke and Maryland won't save the Hoyas as they are dropping to teams like radford, Asheville and Monmouth. This team can still win double digit games in conference, but will that just serve to steal another team's bid? (12-22 Charlotte)

8. Creighton. (20%). Respectable against Oklahoma, but no reason to move up their chances of dancing. (12-21 NTexas)

9. St. John's. (2%). Incarnate Word. Ouch. (12-20 njit and 12-22

10. DePaul. (1%). Heard that new arena is coming along nicely. (12-22 GW)
