For you "C7" fans out there, one of the games that set the stage for why you were going to want to have Xavier and Creighton join you as conference mates:

This game was epic.

David West is one of my favorites.

I think Kyle Korver is a class act as well.

Kyle Korver returns to the Cintas Center tonight for an NBA exhibition game against LeBron and the Cavs:

That was an amazing game -- I vividly remember listening on the radio in Omaha before heading out for NYE festivities. David West and Kyle Korver, two future pros, engaged in a case of one-upsmanship, trying to will their team to victory.

The game wasn't televised, but last summer Creighton's SID found an old VHS tape of the coaches' game film in a box when they moved into the new Championship Center, and was gracious enough to let us borrow it, along with footage of a bunch of other old untelevised Jays games, for our summer series featuring classic Creighton games from the past. We digitized it and featured it over on White & Blue Review last summer:

The highlight package is Creighton-specific, so Xavier fans will probably be more interested in the second video in that post: the final four minutes of the game, in their entirety, with no edits.
