How long till new conference expands to 14

I can see that in a couple years the Big East invites Gonzaga and St. Marys as well! What are your guys' thoughts?

Would love to have the Zags, but not SMC. Just don't see it happening and once we get to 12, I'd guess we are done.

I would be really surprised if the league went past 12, unless Fox stepped up with more money.

I'd be fine if we stopped at 10. Not sure what SLU or Dayton really offer. Just more mouths to feed.

Lets see, St. Louis offers the city of St. Louis - that is if we are just talking markets. St. Louis and Dayton will also offer at worst solid RPI games. As far as the mouths to feed comment you clearly haven't done the math. It will cost the league no more $ to have St. Louis and Dayton. In fact it will pay extra to have SLU and Dayton. So as your question... even if SLU and Dayton suck to Duquesne levels and fill out last two teams in the conference and even if you are not interested in the St. Louis market, it still pays each school more money to have them in.
