The four are:

Markel Starks, Gtown
Kriss Dunn, PC
Ryan Arcidiacono, Villanova
Semaj Christon, Xavier

The Bob Cousy Award is given annually to the best collegiate point guard in the country. Michigan's Trey Burke won the award last season, and other recent winners include North Carolina's Kendall Marshall and Connecticut's Kemba Walker.

Looking forward to watching Christon who just got a really nice write up by columnist Mark Titus over at Grantland Sports, calling him the BE's Best Pro Prospect — Semaj Christon (Xavier): http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/9859284/mark-titus-previews-2013-14-ncaa-basketball-season-starting-big-east.

Markel Starks, Gtown and Ryan Arcidiacono, Villanova are solid choices.

As a Friar Fan, the addition of Kris Dunn to this watch list is no surprise. A true Sophomore, he was recovering from shoulder surgery when he finally suited up for us last year and his game improved significantly as the season rolled on - especially on defense. He definitely needs to work on his shooting but he is a big PG, (true 6' 4-5") who plays big and plays fast and strong.

He was a McD All American coming in very highly rated and so we have a lot of hope he will emerge this year and if the Friars are going to have a chance to dance he is seen by many as the key player who will make that difference. Here is the running total of a small poll we are presently conducting over on our PC Friar Fan Forum: http://friartownhoops.proboards.com/thread/2794/cotton-excluded-pick-player-friars
