Big East Helped by Round Robin Format?

Not sure if we have discussed the possibility that being the only round robin power basketball conference gives us an advantage over every other league come tournament time?

Thought this might be an interesting off season discussion besides realignment.

It definitely helps the league be more cohesive. I feel I know every school in this league pretty well because X has played each over 20 times the last ten years. That being said, we are likely the last round-robin basketball power conference. If the right expansion candidate comes along its probably worth forgoing, but its definitely nice to have while we can.
