I get that he provides "content" to and activity on this site.

I truly believe that he comes off looking like a punching bag for BE fans here; he ends up looking like the limbless knight in Python's Search for the Holy Grail. He's like a monotone robot that has been set out to take a verbal beating, insofar as he has been forced to defend a conference that has completely failed to keep pace with the BE's success.

Is it entertaining? Yes.

Are some of you seriously trying to get through to him about all this? May I suggest you let that idea go.

I submit that when a bug enters your domicile, you can defer and say: "eh...what harm can he do?" or you can greet him with the bottom of your shoe. I do like some of the contributions he provides but then he insists on these nonsense posts in which he predicts that every single thing will go right for the teams he is rooting for and every possible thing will go wrong for the BE teams. It's not a bid deal...more nuisance than anything else. But I usually, more often than not, take the bottom of the shoe approach. It's probably not necessary but is so hard to resist.

Now a guy like Fieldhouse Flyer stops over. He recognizes that this is a BE forum. He doesn't talk sh!t. He contributes in his own way respectfully. I appreciate that. It's like being an Eagles fan in Giants stadium. If you want to act the fool, you'll be called on it. But if you sit and act respectfully to those around you who back a rival, then it's all good.

Sorry X fans I’m with Gumby on this, Fieldhouse is the best (only?) non-BE poster on here and es been here since before we knew who the C7 would invite. TBH I wish we could add them, the only reason not to is keeping the round robin, which is great..... and of course X fans
