I wouldn't want to see Kansas(in Omaha), Baylor(in Omaha), Gonzaga(in Spokane), or Maryland. Or probably Florida St(in Tampa).

Yeah maybe...but how would you like to be one of those schools and see Providence as the 9 seed in your bracket?

a lot of pretty good teams in that range. Florida, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Houston, LSU, Arizona St.

The 8/9 games this year are going to be absolute wars.

With all due respect, none of those schools had a February like the Friars. Arizona State had a similar record in Feb but only really good win was over Oregon, though the UCLA win in early Feb looking better everyday as that was the last game UCLA lost.

Florida had 3 Feb losses...no great wins. TTU lost 4 in Feb...best win at Texas? West by god Virginia has 6 losses in Feb, LSU 5 losses, and Houston 3 with no good wins.

PC, on the other hand, had wins @ Butler, CU, Seton Hall, @ Georgetown, Marquette, @ Villanova (against two road losses @ X and SJ).

Some times teams like Providence get to a point and just fizzle out from there.... see it at least some of the time. Thinking back a few years ago with Seton Hall.

Of course, Providence probably still needs 1 more win. Don't want to take any chances at 17-15, even with all the good wins.

I think Xavier now must win 1 more game. If they lose on Saturday, they would be the 7 seed and would face DePaul. Really think that's must win for them...

Think Xavier needs 1 other win(be it Saturday or BET QF) to avoid going to Dayton now.

If Spokane gets a lot of visitors from Seattle, not sure if anybody wants end up there.

Great point....

NCAA gets really lucky that sub regional is in Spokane rather than Seattle.
