Most of UConn fans could probably not even tell you when they won the "regular season crown" Cuse and Pitt would be the same.

Don't care much what Syracuse or Pitt fans (does Pitt actually still have fans??) say but I am pretty sure I read a comment on this board by a Villanova fan suggesting they hoped Nova didn't even get to the championship game this year because he wanted his team to get the added rest. That hardly seems like the BET is very important to that fan.

And a PC fan making fun of anyone's mascot is amusing.

I was making fun of gtmo but whatever.

Damn...and I missed that post. Thanks friarJ for thinking of me. That's why I luv this conference...so many thoughtful and considerate brethren here.
Back in da day...those Jays and MVC brethren were always taking stabs, jabs, and slights. Wearing body armor was a must!

I am just Sooo happy with our newfound family in the Big East. No scumbags here!!? Erothing is just peachy-keen.

And I know that no one would question the sanctity and honor of Billy Bluejay... Cute response Jfan, cute.

No problem I live in Seattle and everybody out here call these birds Bluejays. I correct them everytime I hear it.

The NCAA Tournament committee publicly stated Providence would not have gotten into the 2014 NCAA tournament without winning the BE Tournament. Nice try though. Love how an automatic bid is now considered "meaningless." Clown.

The automatic bid isn't meaningless, and neither is the BET in general, but if you win the regular season championship, you don't care about getting the auto-bid. You only care about seeding.

teams are remembered by an exponential amount on what they do in the post season vs what they did in the regular season.

Welp my Muskies let me down a bit. Now gotta root for the Friars next Saturday over Nova.
I figure either Marquette (29th) or Nova (4th) will take down the Hall. Roll Friars. ;)
