Butler is rated 6th in the country as of today and would almost certainly receive a 1 seed had the season ended today.

I mean this in the nicest way possible, but Xuperman is a blithering idiot.

Butler isn't even close to their ceiling yet. They've had pretty poor performances from Kamar Baldwin and Jordan Tucker (relatively speaking) - and there isnt but a handful of freshmen in the conference as talented as Battle - and he's still playing like he's just trying to do the right thing. If they all click in over the next month? Well, there's not too many places above 6th, but....

What, in your opinion, is the difference between this year and last year? I don't see much difference in the makeup of the team other than a few players and yet it's night and day since last year. what changed?

Front court isn’t butt. Also, team has much more depth.
