So I popped over to the other board to see if there was anything interesting from UConn fans. Nothing really on that front, but Stever did take your sarcasm here and try to spin it as a valid point

I thought "the thing is", along with the ridiculous premise made the joke pretty clear lol.

On another note, with UConn's addition I no longer expect this series (or the Big 12 one) to be renewed. One will be, but probably not both. All schools just added two major games (UConn home and away), and that is on top of the Big 12 and Big Ten challenges. Great to have options!

Getting a legit Challenge (or 2) back is incredibly exciting.

Unfortunately, UCONN wasn't one of the 4 AAC schools that ESPN/Aresco chose to participate in the inaugural AAC-Bottom 4 of the SEC Challenge this year...

Lol is this really a thing? How embarrassing. Imagine the Big East challenging the bottom half of the ACC? Instead, we make H&Hs with their top schools like Duke, Louisville and Syracuse.

yeah, except Ole Miss and South Carolina both finished in the top half of the conference last year. Other than that.

I didn't even know that this was a thing but it makes sense. 4 SEC schools get left out of SEC vs Big 12 challenge, and as far as I know, the SEC's staying at 18 games for now.

I like Creighton's matchup in Ann Arbor. We need a test like this, on a stage like this, this early in the season, this year... thanks again to Val and her staff for this awesome event.

Did anyone ask Val about this or how adding UCONN impacts the deal with the Big 12 since we had ten schools each which made things easy. It would suck for one of the original 10 schools to be left out so they can fit UCONN in.

I mean would people really care if DePaul isn't participating so UConn can? I doubt it.

Ole Miss?

South Carolina?

You're blind hatred and jealousy of the BE causes you to make a complete fool of yourself.

NOBODY would hold-up those two programs as attractive, let alone marquee type matchups.

Your BB gun is out of air pressure.

The four programs that the SEC send as part of the scheduling alliance are the bottom four teams from the prior years standings (2017-18). It is not really a scheduling alliance - which infers a friendly association or mutual partnership - as much as it is a coincidental/accidental relationship. The fact that the AAC is sending four of its top teams says all it needs to say about the "partnership" haha.
